n la costa adriática, Hvar es una de las más bellas islas de
Croacia. Sus montañas alojan los mejores viñedos y
campos de olivos, sus pueblos conservan el encanto típi-
co con sus fabulosos puertos y Hvar, la capital de la isla, es un
maravilloso pueblo amurallado al pie de la fortaleza, bañado
por aguas cristalinas y su malecón se adorna de restaurantes
exquisitos. Hablar de la Isla de Hvar es hablar de la más amplia
de las islas de Croacia y del Adriático, clima suave, mucho sol,
luz, son ingredientes que hacen de la Isla de Hvar y de la ciudad
que lleva su nombre destinos importantes y desarrollados de
la costa croata. En la Isla de Hvar encontramos diversos puntos
de interés turístico y de gran calidad en los servicios. Podemos
empezar nuestro recorrido por la isla de Hvar por Sucuraj, un
pequeño rincón en la Isla con grandes infraestructuras, un
pequeño puerto, alojamientos amplios, con hoteles, aparta-
mentos u hostales, así como maravillosas playas. La Isla de
Hvar es uno de los destinos turísticos preferentes de Croacia,
y además de sus playas de arena blanca ofrece al visitante
amplios bosques y zonas naturales protegidas que engrande-
cen la belleza del entorno de la Isla. Hvar, el núcleo urbano que
da nombre a la isla esta lleno de campos de lavanda, es una
maravilla. Si gusta de las casas de piedra aquí pueden encon-
trar pintorescos pueblos construidos en las laderas que desta-
can por antiguas casas dálmatas con techos rojos. Muchas
abandonadas y casi tapadas por las hierbas, otras sin embargo
están restauradas.

n the Adriatic coast, Hvar is one of the most beautiful
islands of Croatia. Its mountains house the best vine-
yards and olive fields, its villages preserve their typical
charm with its fabulous ports and Hvar, the capital of the
island, it is a wonderful walled town at the foot of the
fortress, bathed by crystal clear waters and its pier is embel-
lished with exquisite restaurants. To talk about the Island of
Hvar is to talk about the largest of the islands of Croatia and
of the Adriatic, smooth weather, very sunny, light, are the
ingredients that make the Island of Hvar and the city that
has its name important and developed destinations in the
Croatian coast. In the Island of Hvar we find several points of
touristic interest and of great quality in the services. We can
start our tour on the island of Hvar in Sucuraj, a small corner
in the Island with great infrastructures, a small port, roomy
accommodations, with hotels, apartments or guesthouses,
as well as wonderful beaches. The Island of Hvar is one of the
favorite touristic destinations of Croatia, and besides its
white sand beaches it offers the visitor broad forests and
natural protected areas which ennoble the beauty of the
surroundings of the Island. Hvar, the city center that gives
name to the island, has fields of lavender, is a wonder. If
you like the houses of stone here you can find picturesque
towns built in the slopes that emphasize for old Dalmatian
houses with red ceilings. Many abandoned and almost cov-
ered by the herbs, other nevertheless they are restored.
