. Toda la enseñanza estaba originalmente com-

puesta por 21 libros. Se dice que el primer escritor fue

un príncipe persa durante el imperio Sasánida (segun-

do imperio Persa durante su cuarta dinastía irania),

quien los grabó sobre 12,000 pieles con letras de oro,

los cuales fueron destruidos por Alejandro Magno,

quien los consideró una herejía.

En el territorio de Azerbaiyán existen cuantiosos

templos del fuego que demuestran la adoración y la

presencia del zoroastrismo. En la conciencia colectiva

filosófica de su pueblo, es una presencia indispensable.

Zoroastrianism was orally taught for centuries.

The most important texts are the Gathas, although

only The Avesta has survived to our day and age.

The entirety of his teachings were composed of 21

books. It was said that the first to write them down

was a Persian prince living the time of the Sassa-

nid Empire (the second Persian empire during the

fourth Iranian dynasty). The 12,000 animals skins

embroidered in gold were destroyed by Alexander

the Great, as he considered them heresy.

In the Azerbaijani territory, there exist numer-

ous temples of fire that show the adoration and

presence of Zoroastrianism. In the collective philos-

ophy of the people, it is an indispensable presence.
