Se han conservado intactas muchas de sus mura-
llas y algunas edificaciones del siglo XII. Durante
este recorrido histórico podrás conocer: baños
persas; carabanzares (estaciones para las antiguas
caravanas); mezquitas con sus minaretes; galerías
de arte; restaurantes, salones de té; tiendas de
antigüedades, y aproximadamente 40 monu-
mentos, en sus calles animadas por compañías de
teatro de calle, música y danza. Es recomendable
recorrer la muralla de la fortaleza, para abarcar
sus dimensiones enormes.

Many of the walls and some of the buildings have
been kept intact since the 13th century. During
this historical journey you’ll be able to see: Persian
baths; caravan stations (where they were parked);
mosques and their minarets; art galleries; restau-
rants; tea salons; antique shops; and approximate-
ly 40 monuments which dot the colorful streets; as
well as street theater companies, musicians, and
dancers. We recommend that travellers walk along
the fortification’s walls in order to get a clear idea
of its enormous dimensions.
