Cáucaso, un mosaico
de culturas
El paisaje inconmensurable de las montañas que la
conforman, es una presencia constante en el te-
rritorio de Azerbaiyán; majestuoso de por sí de-
bido a la rica geografía, en un juego perpetuo con
las nubes y las nieves eternas de algunas de sus
cimas, la abundancia multicolor de su flora, au-
nada a su fauna vastísima. Así de diversas son las
creencias y lenguajes de sus pobladores, que se
saben depositarios de una fortuna cultural, histó-
rica y natural, que les convierte en custodios de su
resguardo y protección.
El Cáucaso divide a Asia de Europa, ostenta un sig-
nificativo valor climático, cultural, étnico y lingüísti-
co, a lo largo de sus 1.400 Km se han escrito relevan-
tes páginas de la historia humana.
