mera posada de Nassau; con el tiempo, el Graycliff
Hotel adquirió fama y popularidad, lo que atrajo la
atención de ricos, famosos y personalidades como
la realeza europea, Winston Churchill y los Beatles.
Pero en 1972, Enrico Garzaroli, aficionado al vino y
a los cigarros, compró la finca Graycliff convirtién-
dola en una mansión dedicada
bon vivant
. Se trata
de un hotel boutique de lujo de 20 habitaciones,
que cuenta con uno de los mejores restaurantes
de Bahamas.
Además, en la propiedad hay plantaciones de taba-
co, las cuales sirven para producir sus propios cigarros.
En cuanto a su cava de vinos, ésta cuenta con más de
250,000 botellas de 400 bodegas distintas, proceden-
tes de 15 países, ubicada en el sótano de la propiedad,
alberga una de las cinco colecciones de vino más gran-
des del mundo. En esta colección destaca una de las
botellas más antiguas del mundo, 1727 Rüdesheimer
Apostelwein, con un valor estimado de 200,000 dólares.

collection, one of the oldest bottles in the world
is noteworthy, Rüdesheimer Apostelwein 1727,
with an estimated value of 200 thousand dollars.
