Sus cambios son profundos y apuntan no sola-
mente a una renovación de la marca sino a una reela-
boración de todo el segmento de los descapotables
biplazas deportivos, los legendarios “roadsters”.
El F-Type presenta una nueva carrocería más lige-
ra realizada en aluminio, con nuevos motores super-
cargados de 6 y 8 cilindros, con 3.0 y 5.0 litros de des-
plazamiento, acoplados a una transmisión automática
Quickshift de 8 velocidades.
Para reforzar su carácter deportivo, posee una
palanca manual SportShift y paletas de cambios tras
el volante, que permiten al conductor asumir plena-
mente el control de la transmisión y sacarle todo su
espíritu al vehículo.
En la cajuela posee un alerón que se despliega al
alcanzar su velocidad de crucero, lo cual permite ase-
gurar un perfecto agarre al piso. También ofrece el
sistema de adaptación autónoma a las condiciones de
conducción, que controlan la respuesta de la suspen-
sión y el manejo.
Para coronar la experiencia, sus dos escapes
ofrecen un sonido único, cuya intensidad el conduc-
tor puede regular para conseguir la total emoción de
un deportivo.
