espués del éxito que significó el Bugatti Ve-
yron para la firma italiana, ésta decidió ir más
allá para crear un vehículo aun más rápido e
impresionante: el Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, que re-
cientemente ha sido nombrado como el automóvil más
rápido del mundo, al haber alcanzado los 431 km/h.
La maquinaria interna la conforma un motor W16
y 64 válvulas, es decir, 4 válvulas por cilindro. Los fre-
nos están hechos de discos de fibra de carbono, re-
forzados por carburo de silicio, que cuentan con una
mayor resistencia que los discos de hierro convencio-
nales, así como también amortiguadores con un com-
plejo diseño, desarrollado originalmente para autos
de carreras.
A pesar de que la capacidad del Veyron fue ya
probada a 431 km/h, los próximos modelos de pro-
ducción serán limitados electrónicamente para lle-
gar a las 415 km/h, esto como medida de protección
para los neumáticos.

found success in the Buggatti Veyron, it is
once again determined to create an even
faster and more impressive vehicle: the Bugatti
Veryon Super Short, which recently has beennamed
that fastest production vehicle in the world, after
reaching a top speed of 431 km/h.
The internal machinery is composed of a W16
engine with 64 valves, meaning 4 valves for every
cylinder. The breaks are made of disks of carbon fi-
bre, reinforced with silicon carbide that are far more
resilient than the conventional iron disks, as well as
shock absorbers featuring a complex design which
were originally developed for racing cars.
In spite of the fact that the Veyron capabilities
have already been tested after reaching 431 km/h,
the next production models will be electronically
limited to reach speeds of only 415 km/h to protect
the tires from sudden rupture.
