n un escenario espectacular, en La Reunión Golf
Resort & Residences el golf
tiene un gran nombre: Golf Course Fuego
Maya. En 70 hectáreas, con una longitud de 6675 me-
tros, el campo de 18 hoyos, par 72, fue diseñado por el
legendario arquitecto Pete Dye, con la colaboración de
su hijo Perry. Golf Course Fuego Maya desafía a cada
jugador por su plano cautivador con una vista impre-
sionante sobre el volcán de fuego.
Cada hoyo representa uno de los meses del ca-
lendario solar maya y el símbolo de cada mes recibe a
los jugadores en la entrada de cada green. El mes 19,
de cinco días, se llama wayeb y es el de práctica, una
bienvenida al viaje en este lugar único.
Recorrer los greens es una verdadera aventura.
Por un terreno accidentado, con vistas magníficas y
juegos diversos y divertidos, cada hoyo es un viaje
por la belleza. Los recorridos van de terrenos planos
a sectores muy escarpados con desniveles vertigino-
sos, adornados con lagunas que realzan más aún la
belleza del campo.

n a spectacular scenery, at the La Reunión
Golf Resort & Residences golf has a great
name: Mayan Fire Golf Course. On 70 hect-
ares, with a longitude of 6,675 meters, the 18 hole
golf course, par 72, was designed by the legendary
architect Pete Dye, in collaborationwith his son Per-
ry. Mayan Fire Golf Course defies each player with its
captivating plane featuring an impressive view of
the fiery volcanoes.
Each hole represents one of the months in the
Mayansolar calendar, and the symbol of eachmonth
receives players at the entrance of each green. On
the 19th month, compromised of five days, called
‘wayeb’, practice is undertaken; a welcome back of
sorts to this unique location.
Travelling through the greens is a unique adven-
ture; through a treacherous terrain featuringmagnifi-
cent views, entertaining and diverse play, each hole
is a journey through beauty. The path glides along
planes throughsteepdropsadornedwith lagoons that
enhance even further the beauty of the field.
