En el complejo se encuentra el famoso Templo de
Mahabodi y un descendiente del árbol Bodhi, donde
se dice Buda obtuvo la iluminación.
En Bodhgaya también es muy visitado el Templo
de Mahabodi Stupa; el Monasterio Tailandés; la esta-
tua de Buda de más de 24 metros de altura; el Templo
Japonés; el Museo Arqueológico así como los Monas-
terios Tergar y Karma Dhargye Chokhorling.
Para quiendesea experimentar la India de una forma
diferente, se puede dirigir a Orchha para visitar los pala-
cios y templos y posteriormente a la ciudad de Bhopal
y de ahí trasladarse a Sanchi, donde se encuentran las
interesantes estupas y toranas budistas del S II a.C.
Construidos entre los años 930 y 1050 por los reyes
de la Dinastía Chandela, se encuentran los templos de
Khajuraho (en el estado de Madhya Pradesh). Muchos
se refieren a estos como los Templos eróticos de Khaju-
raho, pero al visitarlos te darás cuenta de que menos de
un cuarto de los tallados tienenmotivos eróticos. Eso sí,
los que hay resultan explícitos pues emulan todas las

El siguiente destino fue Jodhpur, llamada la ciu-
dad azul, donde se levanta un impresionante castillo-
