The beach of
Biarritz, with its elegant houses, the Le Palais Hotel and the finest
restaurants on the French Basque coast, has been a fashionable spot
since the middle of the 19th century as well as Empress Eugenie’s
favorite place.
La llaman la Venecia del norte, por los canales que recorren esa elegante
capital, con sus palacios, sus amplias avenidas y sus parques. El palacio
del Hermitage domina el río Neva que permite el acceso de los grandes
barcos. /
They called it the Venice of the North because of the canals
that crisscross this elegant capital with its palaces, wide avenues and
parks. The Hermitage Palace dominates the Neva River, which allows
the access of large ships.

Considerado uno de los lagos sagrados del Tibet, el lago Yamdrok se

Tibet’s sacred lakes, the Yamdrok Lake, over 3,500 m (11,482 ft) high and
with beautiful, calm turquoise waters, haphazardly spreads itself out in
a superb panorama.
