Algunos indicadores que se toman en cuenta para
poder decir si un país, en este caso Noruega, resulta
“más feliz” que otro, se basan en estadísticas como
la tasa de divorcios o la vida que llevan en comunidad;
es decir, qué tanta relación tiene la gente con la ciudad
donde vive. También se toma en cuenta el bienestar
material, medido por el PIB per cápita, el índice de
desempleo (alrededor del 3%); la estabilidad política
y la seguridad en las ciudades y el país mismo; el cli-
ma y la geografía del lugar; los derechos civiles y la
libertad de credo, la igualdad de género, así como el
ambiente de paz que se tiene con otros países; esto
es que no se viva un estado de guerra latente.
