Hoy se dice que los noruegos nacen con los esquís
en los pies. No es del todo cierto, pero se practica como
una actividad familiar yundeporte popular de invierno. La
mayoría de los niños empiezan a aprenderlo cuando son
muy jóvenes y ya adultos se van a las montañas y a los
bosques para esquiar cada vez que pueden.
Yo también tuve esa experiencia. Mi padre era un sal-
tador de esquí, quien se deslizó en la famosa plataforma
de Holmenkollen, igual que nuestro anterior rey Olav V.
Mi padre me enseñó a esquiar cuando tenía dos años. La
oportunidaddeesquiar esunade las cosasquemásextra-
ño, estando en México. Si te gusta el esquí y los deportes
de invierno, ¡Noruega tienemucho que ofrecer!
Si descubres Noruega en el invierno, primavera, ve-
rano u otoño, habrá algo espectacular esperándote. Las
auroras boreales en invierno y el sol de medianoche en el
verano, entremuchas otras cosas. Este verano fue uno de
losmejoresquehemostenidodesde1930,consolentodo
el país, toda la temporada.

the number one winter sport, skiing is very important.
Most children start learning the skill when they are

I had that same experiencemyself. My father was a
ski jumper, who slid in the famous Holmenkollen plat-
form, like our former King Olav V. My father taught me
to ski when I was only two years old. The opportunities
