camino por el mar hacia el norte” y de he-
cho un país muy marítimo, “casado con
el mar”. Se encuentra en la parte occidental al norte de
la península escandinava, bordeando el Mar del Norte
en el suroeste, el Skagerrak al sur, el Océano Atlántico
Norte en el oeste y el Mar de Barents al noreste. Tiene
una de las costas más largas y escarpadas del mundo
(25,148 km) y aproximadamente 50,000 islas frente a
sus hermosas costas. Además posee una larga historia
desde la era de los vikingos, y numerosas tradiciones
como nación marinera.
