Arriban a sus costas donde encuentran la
protección de las aguas tranquilas y tem-
pladas para reproducirse, amamantar y cui-
dar a los ballenatos. En este país se toman
muy en serio la preservación de sus espa-
cios marinos y se promueve una campaña
incesante de sensibilización en cuanto a la
relevancia de esta especie. En este punto
del Cono Sur, comenzamos a seguir su tra-
vesía por los mares del mundo.

Uruguayan coasts, the mir-
acle of southern right whale
sightings takes place each
year. They arrive looking for the pro-
tection of the warm, tranquil waters of
the south to reproduce, nurse and take
care of their calves. This country takes
the preservation of their marine ter-
ritories very seriously, with relentless
campaigning raising awareness on the
significance of this species. In this re-
gion of the Southern Cone, we will fol-
low their journey across the oceans of
the world.
