El Yacht Club está situado en la costa de Puerto del

Buceo; con su aspecto curvado y perfectamente

simétrico, los detalles náuticos y el aura futuris-

ta que pertenecen al estilo

streamline

, parece un

barco en alta mar. Fue diseñado por Luis Crespi y

Jorge Herrán, y fue construido entre 1934 y 1938.

Es un edificio de dos pisos con una torre que se le-

vanta desde el centro y que acomoda habitaciones

para invitados. La distribución del espacio incluye

terrazas y balcones que complementan el senti-

miento abstracto y expresionista de la estructura.

The Yacht Club is located at the coast of Puerto del

Buceo; with its curved, flawlessly symmetrical look,

the nautical details and the futuristic aura that be-

long to the Streamline style, it looks like a ship at

sea. It was designed by Luis Crespi and Jorge Her-

rán and was built between 1934 and 1938. It is a

two story building with a tower that rises from the

center up to accommodate guest suites. The distri-

bution of space includes terraces and balconies that

complement the abstract and expressionist feeling

of the structure.
