El auditorio acogió una serie de conferencias sobre diversos temas; destacó la muestra fotográfica Timekeepers de Luc Debraine, que ilustró de forma poética una treintena de planos de un tiempo que se detiene. Alchemy is an elegant three-deck motor vessel commissioned by a client who was involved throughout the project process, focusing on the exterior and wellness aspects. The owner's exchange of ideas, combined with Rossinavi's expertise, proved fruitful; the result: every piece of furniture was custom-made, including the unique oversized sofa in the main salon. Powered by diesel-electric propulsion with capsule drive to reduce energy loss between the engines and the ship's speed, the ship is characterized by the owner's cabin at the bow, with an unobstructed view of the sea aft, thanks to the spacious central passageway. This design feature creates a sense of openness and a strong connection to the maritime environment. Speaking of the Alchemy's construction process, Rossinavi's Operations Director, Federico Rossi, admits that the key word for this yacht is balance. "With the Vitruvius team, we were able to bring together the knowledge and skills acquired over decades of experience; together we were able to work in synergy under the guidance and presence of the owner". Spacious relaxation areas Externally, Alchemy's silhouette is enhanced by volumes and an optimal distribution of living areas, as well as more than 3,552 sq. ft. of outdoor space spread over three decks, including a Jacuzzi, several sundecks, a bar, entertainment areas and a barbecue. The bridge deck has a lounge and another outdoor dining area for more formal occasions, while the main deck has a large cockpit. "Spa ambience was the key word for the interior and exterior decoration of this yacht," says Enrico Gobi, who used natural materials, soft colors and essential shapes in the interiors, combined with indirect lighting and simplicity of form. The challenge for Gobi's team was to work on a vessel of this magnitude under the close supervision of its owner, starting from a blank sheet of paper to the decoration of the sofas and cushions, to make each object unique and unrepeatable. "In short, in this project, luxury and uniqueness lie in the deep search for refined details," adds Gobi. Another technical highlight is the special storage hatches for the nautical toys, which incorporate a mechanical system designed to ensure stability when the tender is launched into the water. The garage can accommodate a wide range of equipment, from paddleboards, windsurfing and water skis to two boats (23 and 26 ft. long), slides, inflatable docks and even mountain bikes for exploring the land. For Philippe Briand, founder of Vitruvius Yachts, the owner of the boat gave them the guidelines of what his ideal yacht should look like: "It turned out to be a true alchemy, as the name suggests: a combination of elements that resulted in a stylish and elegant three-deck boat.
