C
omo ya es tradición, del 16 al 20 de febrero se
llevó a cabo el espectacular Miami Boat Show
2006 en la encantadora Península de Florida, y lo
que es más importante es que se desarrolló con la pre-
sencia de las mejores firmas de yates del mundo.
Cobijado por el glamour de Miami, este evento es uno de
los más notables del año y en el que los mexicanos tie-
nen una asistencia significativa.
En una extensión de 1.2 millones de pies cuadrados
se pudo disfrutar de esta exhibición, única en su tipo, en
el espacio acuático del Indian Creek Waterway en Miami,
Florida. En esta fiesta tan singular se mostraron embar-
caciones de 16 a 160 pies, las cuales se presentaron por
categorías luciendo todos sus detalles y seduciendo al
público amante de estas bellezas. Y hay que resaltar que
su centro de convenciones albergó todo lo necesario
para el equipamiento de estas joyas del agua: desde
motores hasta cursos sobre pesca y, por supuesto, no
podían faltar los aparatos electrónicos y todo para su
mantenimiento.
Los fabricantes internacionales mostraron sus
mejores modelos y el público proveniente de varios rin-
cones del mundo pudo disfrutar de un show exclusivo
de velas y otro de yates y corretaje, gracias a lo cual se

singular gathering showed off vessels from 60 to 160
feet in length, presented by categories showing of all
their details and seducing the public, lovers of these
beauties. The show's outstanding convention Center
housed everything necessary to equip these floating
gems; from engines through to fishing courses and of
course, electrical equipment and everything you
could possibly imagine for yacht maintenance.
International manufacturers showed off their
best models and the public who came from every cor-
ner of the world was able to enjoy an exclusive sailing
show, as well as a yacht and brokerage exhibition,
