e los jets privados existen diversas marcas y mo-
delos, pero un menor consumo de combustible y
detalles interiores marcan la diferencia entre
unos y otros. Tal será el caso del Eclipse 500, pertene-
ciente a la nueva generación de Jets Very Light (VLJ), ac-
tualmente en proceso de desarrollo y evaluación.
El objetivo de la compañía Eclipse Aviation Corporation
(EAC) es redefinir la transportación aérea, logrando ahorros
a través del consumo de combustible con una aeronave de
nueva generación, que proporcionará valor, seguridad y co-
modidad a los viajeros del aire, con una mejora en su expe-
riencia de vuelo.
Eclipse 500 revolucionará el concepto de vuelo para
los viajeros de negocios, a quienes, en general, les desa-
grada utilizar aerolíneas comerciales, principalmente por
tener que pasar horas en los aeropuertos, con el temor
