Initiated in the Western Ghats, Goa has the most relaxing scenery and most beautiful beaches of the
country like Aranjuna, Arambol, Carangute and Baga. The churches and convents are declared heritage of humanity by UNESCO, and its
people is already a hallmark of the town. It offers its tourism a tinge of her past of a Portuguese conquest along the hand of an animated
nightlife. Its local cuisine? Cannot Be Missed.
Hasta el siglo XIX la única posibilidad de llegar a la localidad era en barco o por senderos estrechos. El acceso entre las casas y la orilla del lago se rea-
lizaba a través de una pasarela elevada sobre los áticos de las casas. El primer camino importante se construyó en 1890 por la parte oeste a través de
la roca. Sin embargo, las cosas han cambiado para este pueblito austriaco, el cual tiene varios sitios de interés como lo son sus excavaciones arqueo-
lógicas, las minas de sal y sus parroquias e iglesias. /
Until the nineteenth century the only way to reach the town was by boat or narrow paths.
The access between the houses and the lake was granted by a footbridge over the attics of the inhabitant’s home. The first major road was built
in 1890 by the West through the rock. However, things have changed for this Austrian village, which has several places of interest such as: their
archaeological excavations, the salt mines, and its parishes and churches.
