The two hundred and thirty standard rooms and
suites have been designed by Pierre - Yves Rochon,
which for me, was a pleasant surprise, “no creativ-
ity is made without dreams. The ability to dream
with our projects allows us to create exciting hotels
that surround and soothe the senses”. Established
in 1979 PYR creates design solutions for luxury ho-
tels. Each space is unique and consists of elements
drawn from each location, its culture and history.
Located on the top floor of the hotel, the Royal Suite
captures a unique sense of exclusivity, withmagnif-
icent architecture and stunning views of the sea. It
has a dining room that gives space to ten diners and
next to it is the large living room in which you may
enjoy a glass of wine and read a book or just chat
with friends, added to this is the master bedroom,
which has a canopied bed.
At the moment we awake, the whole coast of
Beirut is visible from the first blink of our eyes ...
But, my favorite personal favorite? It has a large
marble tub, which is perfect for spending a lazy af-
ternoon watching the sunset through its windows
that go from floor to ceiling with a backdrop of
the sea and mountains. This room features steam
and sauna. Yes, the entire suite has appropriated
a balcony which completely takes over the room, a
breakfast table and amazing views.
Las doscientas treinta habitaciones estándar y
sus suites han sido diseñadas por Pierre Yves-Rochon,
que para mí, fue una grata sorpresa “la creatividad no
existe sin los sueños. La capacidad de soñar con nues-
tros proyectos nos permite crear hoteles estimulan-
tes, que rodean y calman los sentidos”. Establecida en
1979 PYR crea soluciones de diseño para hoteles de
lujo. Cada espacio es único y está compuesto por ele-
mentos extraídos de cada locación, cultura e historia.
Localizada en el último piso del hotel, la Suite Royal
acapara un sentido único de exclusividad, con magní-
fica arquitectura y vistas esplendidas al mar. Cuenta
con un comedor que da espacio a diez comensales y
a su lado está la amplia sala en la cual se puede tomar
una copa de vino y leer un libro o simplemente con-
versar con los amigos, aunado a ello está la recámara
principal, que tiene una cama con toldo.
Al despertar, toda la costa de Beirut es visible desde
el primer momento en el que abrimos los ojos
…
¿Pero,
mi personal favorito? Cuenta con una amplia tina demár-
mol, que es perfecta para pasar una tarde perezosa vien-
do el atardecer a través de sus ventanales que dan de te-
cho a piso, los cuales tienen como escenario el mar y las
montañas. Esta pieza cuenta con sauna y vapor, para que
justo afuera nos espere el vestidor. Eso sí, toda la suite se
ha apropiado de un balcón que se adueña de la recámara
por sus vistas y desayunador externo.
