the incredible diversity of life found in Baja California. I
imagine it is because few of the world’s geographic acci-
dents are as representative as this one.
In it, the rich, green waters of the Pacific Ocean blend
with those of the Sea of Cortez and produce one of the
world’s most beautiful and interesting marine regions.
This time the whales did not appear but, even so, diving in
this spot left my heart and mind filled with many pleas-
ant memories.
ra lista, pues sabía que de un momento a otro podían
aparecer las ballenas. Escuchaba claramente sus cantos,
pero no podía definir a qué distancia estaban.
Este lugar es único en el mundo. Las verdes y ricas
aguas del Pacífico se mezclan con las del Golfo de Cortés
para formar una de las zonas marinas más interesantes
y bellas de la Tierra. Las ballenas no aparecieron en esta
ocasión, pero la buceada me dejó muy gratos recuerdos
en la mente y el corazón.
