Está provisto de un profundímetro cuya exacti-
tud se ha verificado individualmente y está certifica-
da por el organismo oficial METAS. Este año se
lanzará una edición de 500 ejemplares numerados.
Con la inconfundible caja de los modelos
Luminor, elaborada a partir de un bloque macizo y
caracterizada por el puente con la palanca del dispo-
sitivo protector de la corona, el Depth Gauge es her-
mético hasta 120 metros.
Tiene 47mmde diámetro como losmodelos históri-
cos y está construido en titanio, un metal hipoalergéni-
co extremadamente resistente y al mismo tiempo muy
ligero; en contraste, el pulsador del profundímetro y el
puente del dispositivo protector son de acero satinado.
Mide profundidades de hasta 120 metros y tam-
bién memoriza la profundidad máxima alcanzada en
el curso de una inmersión. Esto es posible gracias a
un dispositivo electrónico, que en realidad es un ins-
trumento independiente montado en la caja del reloj.
El profundímetro está situado a las 10h, y el valor lo
indica la aguja amarilla central con punta de flecha que
recorre la escala graduada, antes de la inmersión. Lleva
una pila de litio que alimenta el módulo electrónico
durante un tiempo garantizado de 500 horas.
Para aumentar la seguridad, el Luminor 1950
incorpora un dispositivo que emite un aviso si la
batería está próxima a agotarse y todas las funcio-
nes del profundímetro quedan bloqueadas.
Este modelo está siendo utilizado por Mike Horn
en su expedición "Pangea", la cual recorrerá todo
el mundo navegando y el objetivo principal de la
expedición es concientizar a los niños acerca de el
calentamiento global.

Depth Gauge is water proof until 3600 feet.

It memorizes the maximum depth in the last
immersion. This is possible thanks to an electron-
ic device, it is an independent instrument mount-
ed In the case of the watch.
The depth gauge Is situated at the 10 hrs and the
value its indicated by the yellow hand with arrow tip
that runs thru the graduated scale before each
immersion. it comes with a lithium battery that feed
the electronic component for at least 500 hours.
To enhance security the Luminor 1950
Incorporates a device that emits a warning if the bat-
tery is about to run off and all the functions of the
depth gauge becomes unavailable. the watch comes
with two interchangeable customizedwristbands.
These model Is being used by Mike Horn in the
expedition “Pangea” which will go thru the palnet
sailing and the main objective is to concientisized
the kids about global warming.
