Arab Quarter
Barrio árabe que cuenta con una mezquita rodeada
de hermosas palmeras y atmósfera de oriente; es el
centro musulmán de Singapur, adonde la mezquita
Sultan Mosque sobresale de sus calles. Actualmente,
aquí se hallan las tiendas de tejidos, alfombras, saris,
batiks, cuero y perfumes, siendo Haji Lane un auténti-
co paraíso para los amantes de la moda. La calle Bus-
sorah Street se encuentra llena de restaurantes de di-
ferentes estilos gastronómicos, como los indonesios,
persas y árabes. En las cafeterías probar el Teh Tarik es
casi una obligación. El Malay Heritage Center invita a
la gente a caminar por esta zona, ya que es una casa
en la cual habitó la familia real malaya.

Arab Quarter
It is the Arab neighborhood with a mosque sur-
rounded by beautiful palm trees and atmosphere
of the East. It is the Muslim Center of Singapore,
where the mosque Sultan Mosque stands out from
its streets. Currently, here are the shops of fabrics,
carpets, saris, batiks, leather and perfume, being
Haji Lane a real paradise for the lovers of fashion.
The Bussorah Street, is full of restaurants of differ-
ent styles of food, including Indonesians, Persians
and Arabs. In coffee shops the Teh Tarik is a must.
The Malay Heritage Center invites people to walk
through this area, since it is a house in which dwelt
the Malaysian Royal family.
