las grietas de los corales. Era increíble que en tan poco
tiempo hubiéramos podido observar tantas y tan dife-
rentes especies en un área tan reducida. Pero así son
los mares fríos: llenos de vida y color.
Mis manos empezaron a temblar por el frío del agua
y mi manómetro marcaba que sólo tengo el aire suficien-
te para llegar a la superficie, incluido el alto de seguridad
obligatorio. Yome negaba a dejar de tomar fotos, pero Ar-
mando yMiguel me hicieron entrar en razón. Apenas tuve
tiempo de captar un par de fotos más de unos huevos de
nudibranquios que encontré enmi ascenso a la superficie.
No puedo evitar sentirme fascinado cuando con-
templo esta arquitectura submarina, pero habré de
esperar un buen rato para volver a sumergirme en las
frías aguas del Pacifico Norte Mexicano.

My hands began to tremble because of the cold
water and my gauge was telling me I only had
enough air to reach the surface, to include the man-
datory safety stop. I refused to stop taking pictures,
but Miguel and Armando made me reason. I barely
had time to catch a couple of photos of some nudi-
branch eggs I found in my ascent.
I cannot help it but to be fascinated when I con-
template this underwater architecture, but I will
have to wait for a while before I return to dive into
the cold waters of the North Pacific Mexico.
