Pace, vez fue una lobina negra que pescó cerca de su
casa, en Kansas City, Missouri. El trofeo que capturó
en esta ocasión, un marlín azul de 465 libras, lo pes-
có el primer día del torneo frente a Cabo San Lucas.
Su tamaño era respetable, pero no excepcionalmen-
te grande para los estándares normales del torneo
Bisbee´s. Y por azares del destino, ningún otro marlín
de 300 libras o más logró llegar a la báscula durante
los tres días de pesca. Así pues, el equipo Frantic Pace
de Dave Sánchez barrió con todos los premios impor-
