l exterior del Dolphin 51 creado por Mochi Craft
nos regresa con ricas memorias a antaño. Su gra-
cia en el agua reinterpreta las formas de los bar-
cos langosteros de la costa de Nueva Inglaterra en los
años cincuenta, reproduciendo su casco de líneas sua-
ves y armoniosas que tienen, hasta cierto punto, la for-
ma de un delfín. El estilo y la forma de estos viejos
barcos se combina inteligentemente con el diseño ita-
liano más vanguardista, creando una mezcla única de
personalidad fuerte y belleza refinada. Así, su tapicería
en colores claros alterna con el color de las maderas pre-
ciosas, creando una atmósfera cálida y moderna para los
huéspedes. Los navegantes están rodeados de un mis-
ticismo milenario de respeto profundo al mar, y un dis-
frute constante del sol y del agua. El desafío radical de
cubrir el barco entero con madera y sus líneas suaves
combinan para crear el estilo y la personalidad de este
yate de 17 metros.
El magnífico diseño italiano de los interiores del
Dolphin 51 logra darle valor máximo al espacio, ofre-
ciendo un confort sólo encontrado en yates de mayor
tamaño. Esto aplica, por ejemplo, a los dos camastros
para asolearse, uno anclado en la proa y el otro abatible
en la popa, espacio suficiente para seis personas. La te-
rraza abierta en la popa de la cubierta principal incluye
una práctica mesa abatible con cuatro sillas, que se al-
macenan en una alacena junto con la parrilla, la tarja y el
minibar. Unas ventanas y puertas corredizas de vidrio
separan la terraza del salón, y cuando permanecen
abiertas transforman estas áreas en un magnífico espa-
cio abierto. El Dolphin 51 incluye un bote utilitario, con
motor de cuatro caballos, que se almacena en la popa.

Mochi Craft is a charming memory of yester-
year. Her graceful profile reinterpret the nat-
ural shapes of the Maine lobster boats from the
1950’s, reproduced in a soft and harmonious hull,
which to a certain extent evokes a dolphin’s shape.
The style and shape of these old fishing vessels is
wisely combined with the most up-to-date Italian
design, creating a unique blend of strong character
and refined beauty. Thus light-colored upholstery
alternates with the color of wood, creating a warm
and modern atmosphere for guests. On board, the
guests are surrounded by that age-old mystical
atmosphere of respect for the sea, and by a constant
enjoyment of water and sun. The radical choice of
wood covering every part of the boat, her soft shape,
all this combines to create the style and personality
of the 51’Dolphin.
The magnificent Italian interior design of the
51-foot Dolphin, succeeds in giving maximum
value to space, offering comfort typical of much
larger boats. This applies, for example, to the two
wide sundecks, one fixed to the bow and one
retractable on the stern, enough for six people to
soak in the sun. The cockpit includes a practical
folding table with 4 chairs, stowed behind the cock-
pit locker equipped with grill, sink and bar fridge.
The rear main deck is directly connected to the
saloon by an up-and-over window and a sliding
door, which if left open, transform the main deck
into one large open space. The 51’Dolphin is
equipped with a 4-horse power tender, perfectly
