Es un lugar muy agradable para caminar, visitar
tiendas de antigüedades, extraordinarias galerías de
arte moderno, y gran variedad de pequeños cafés y
restaurantes de alta cocina.
Me encantó pasear en “The Forks”, situado donde
se unen dos ríos, el Red y el Assiniboine Rivers, uno de
los puntos más históricos de Canadá donde podemos
aprender de la vida de los “First Nation People”, o sea,
las poblaciones originales de la región.
“The Forks” es uno de los sitios arqueológicos más
ricos de Norteamérica que ha sido muy bien conserva-
do y podemos visitar esos históricos emplazamientos
mientras visitamos el encantador mercado, comer en
uno de los restaurantes como “The Current”, descubrir
los productos regionales y las artesanías típicas.
It’s a very pleasant place to walk in, visit an-
tique shops, extraordinary modern art galleries,
and a great variety of small cafés and high cuisine
restaurants.
I loved strolling around The Forks, located where
the two riversmeet, the Red and the Assiniboine Riv-
ers, one of the most historic spots of Canada where
we can learn about the life of the First Nation People,
that is to say, the original populations of the region.
The Forks is one of the richest archeological sites
inNorthAmericawhichhas beenverywell preserved
and we can visit these historic placements while we
visit the delightful market, eat in one of its restau-
rants like The Current, discover the local products
and traditional handcrafts.
