Bear Hugs
We saw some huge bears fighting or playing
around: they would stand one in front of the other
and would hug, nibbling the cheeks, intimidating
with their size and funny postures, rolling around
in the snow, like a small wrestling match.
A mother walked towards us and her image
would reflect on the ice of a frozen lake she dared
not cross and went around to reach the truck, the
baby would follow her close by, but always protect-
ed by the her mother’s huge backside.
Other beards would stand underneath the
platform made out of grille and we could feel their

Observamos unos enormes osos peleándose o ju-
gueteando: se paraban uno frente al otro y se abraza-

la nieve, como una pequeña lucha libre.
Una madre caminó hacia nosotros y su imagen se
reflejaba sobre el hielo de un laguito congelado que
no se atrevió a cruzar y rodeó hasta llegar al camión,
el bebé la seguía muy de cerca, pero siempre protegi-
do por las enormes pompas de la mamá.
Otros osos se paraban debajo de la plataforma he-
cha con rejilla y podíamos sentir su aliento sin temer
