In Bali,
snorkeling and scuba diving tours to the
beautiful coral reefs start out from the Oberoi. The
most famous spots are Tulambsen, Canbdi Dasa
and the island of Lembongan. The best surfing is in
Kuta and Uluwatu. Visit the towns of Ubud and
Mas, theMengwi, Sangeh, Tanah Lot, Tampaksiring,
and Besakih temples, Klungkung’s Palace of
Justice, and the Batur volcano.
In Lombok:

ing, canoeing, fishing and short cruise in a prahu.
These activities can be organized from the Oberoi.
Explore Rinjani volcano, covered by a tropical,
humid jungle, hike along the paths to see thewater-
falls and lagoon. Explore the towns and rice fields,
different handicrafts (Banyamulek’s and Penujak’s
ceramics and Sukarara’s textiles), discover themon-
key forest of Baun Pusuk. Surfing in Bangko
Bangko, southern beaches, Mayura (Hindu temple),
Narmada (royal palace and garden).

Diversidad de restaurantes y, dependiendo del
lugar, siempre hay uno que ofrece gran variedad de
platillos indonesios. En la cercanía de las playas los
restaurantes se vuelven más exclusivos y refinados.
Recomendamos: Kura Kura, en Oberoi Bali (cocina
exquisita), y Oberoi Lombok, que además de servir
una deliciosa cocina de fusión preparada por el chef
australiano Mark Hagenbach en el Lumbung restau-
rant, acomoda a los enamorados en un solitario y
romántico pabellón.
Bali boasts a great variety of restaurants, it just
depends where you are. You always find one fea-
turing a long menu of Indonesian dishes. The
restaurants nearer the beaches are more exclusive
and refined. We highly recommend Kura Kura in
the Oberoi Bali hotel for exquisite cuisine, and the
Oberoi Lombok, which in addition to serving
tempting fusion cuisine prepared by chef Mark
Hagenbach in the Lumbung restaurant, serves
lovers in a private, romantic pavilion.

peratura promedio es de 26 °C, con dos temporadas:
seca (mayo a septiembre), lluviosa (octubre a abril).

age temperature is 26°, with two seasons: dry
from May to September, rainy from October to
April. It can rain at any moment with sudden

GETTING ORGANIZED
Para navegar: Rentar un velero o un yate en Puerto de
Benoa. Es necesario reservar antes porque no haymu-
cha disponibilidad (

lingbali.com). Para desplazarse dentro de las islas la
mejor manera es rentar un coche con chofer, para no
perderse, o unamoto si es individual. Las carreteras no
están bien señaladas.
To navigate the waters you can rent a sailboat or
yacht in the port of Benoa. You have to make prior
reservations because of limited availability. Note:
To get around the islands we suggest renting a car
and driver, so that you do not get lost, or a motor-
cycle for each person. The roads are not well
marked.
