la leyenda
“E
l nombre otorgado a este yate es aquel de
Miyamoto Musashi, uno de los samurais más
famosos de la historia japonesa. Musashi
(1584-1645) recibió el título de “Kensei” (Santo de la es-
pada) y nunca fue derrotado en los aproximadamente 60
duelos que combatió durante toda su vida. El maestro de
la espada también tenía un lado más tranquilo. Un buen
samurai no sólo debe sobresalir en el arte del combate,
Musashi también desarrolló sus habilidades como es-
cultor, calígrafo y pintor, además de ser autor de varios
libros sobre el arte del combate y estrategia.

cual cuenta con partes cerradas en casos necesarios, es
totalmente inspirado en el personaje deMusashi “.

he yacht’s namesake Miyamoto Musashi
is one of the most renowned samurais in
Japanese history. Musashi (1584-1645)
received the title ‘kensei’ (sword saint) andwas nev-
er beaten in the approximately 60 duels he fought
during his lifetime. The sword master however also
had a more peaceful side. Believing that a good
samurai should not only excel in the art of combat,
Musashi also developed his skills as a sculptor, cal-
ligrapher and painter, in addition to authoring sev-
eral books on the art of combat and strategy.
No name could have been more fitting for the
new yacht that was created by Sinot Yacht Design
in close cooperation with De Voogt Naval Archi-
tects and Feadship: subtle but unconquerable,
with clear lines but many concealed elements,
with an open structure, but closed where neces-
sary; entirely inspired by Musashi’s character.
