H
ermosa ciudad en la costa del Mediterráneo,
donde se mezcla arquitectura gótica, barroca,
modernista y moderna. El puerto ha sido
completamente renovado para la Copa América, y
ofrece marina excepcional. Valencia es una de las ciu-
dades más grandes de España, y está entre las más
animadas. Al estar situada a la orilla del mar
Mediterráneo, la ciudad dispone de bonitas playas.
Ofrece también grandes posibilidades para el depor-
te y la vida social y nocturna.
Además Valencia es muy conocida por su gastro-
nomía, sólo con nombrar el universal ejemplo de la
Paella Valenciana. También hay que mencionar las
Fallas de San José, la más famosa de las fiestas que
los ciudadanos celebran durante el año.

where gothic, baroque, modernist and modern
architecture are mixed. The port has been
completely renovated for the Copa América, and
offers an exceptional marina. Valencia is one of the
largest cities of Spain, and is among the most ani-
mated.
It’s situated on the edge of the
Mediterranean Sea, the city has pretty beaches.
It offers also large possibilities for the sport and
the nightlife and social life. Besides, Valencia is well
known by its gastronomy, only with naming the uni-
versal example of the Valencian Paella. Also one
must mention the Fallas de San José, the most
famous festivals in which citizens celebrate during
the year.
