rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras and monkeys. Each time
we went out the adventure was different, and the
three days spent in this small paradise, in addition
to affording us close encounters with the wild life,
invited us to live the life of a novel, with unforget-
table moments of luxury and perfection. South
Africa is a very unique country, filled with contrasts
and of refined sensitivity. Here, elegance is bound-
less and the beauty of the surroundings satisfies the
most sophisticated tastes. For sailors, it offers
majestic coastlines and its reserves welcome urbane
travelers who have a chance to relive days of old in
incredible luxury.
This trip has been one of the most extraordinary I
have ever taken. It was as if everything magical I had
ever dreamed of became a reality in the blink of an eye.
I had always fantasized about Africa with its extraor-
dinary encounters with animal. And there it was, in
the midst of luxurious, sophisticated camping, relax-
ing around a bonfire, listening to the roar of the lions
during the night. The reality of the experience was
this, and more. Real life surpassed fiction and the
southern coast has conquered me forever.

fas, cebras y monos. Cada salida ofrecía una aventura di-
ferente y los tres días pasados en ese pequeño paraíso,
además de permitir los cercanos encuentros con la vida
salvaje, nos invitaron a vivir la vida de las novelas, unos
momentos inolvidables de lujo y perfección.
Sudáfrica es un país muy peculiar, lleno de con-
trastes, de refinada sensibilidad, donde la elegancia
no halla límite y la belleza de su entorno se acompaña
con los gustos más delicados. Sus costas son majes-
tuosas para el navegante y sus reservas acogen al via-
jero sofisticado para revivir los tiempos pasados con
increíble suntuosidad.
Ese viaje ha sido uno de los más extraordinarios,
como si toda la magia soñada se hubiera vuelto real en
un solo parpadeo. Siempre había fantaseado con África,
con sus aventuras extraordinarias de encuentros con
animales, para llegar, en medio del lujo y de la sofisti-
cación del campamento, a descansar a la orilla de la
fogata, escuchando el rugido de los leones durante la
noche. Eso fue realidad y más, pues la vida real supe-
ró toda ficción y la costa del sur me ha conquistado
para siempre.
