ara describir Tailandia se necesitan dos pala-
bras: seducción y refinamiento. Un país de
contrastes en el sudeste asiático. Una aventu-
ra que se antoja llena de desconciertos, de misticismo
por sus templos, de belleza por sus montañas, de
islas espectaculares con playas paradisiacas, la unión
entre lo tradicional y la modernidad. Recorrido del
que seleccionamos lo más importante para conocer y
apreciar esas grandes “islas del país de las sonrisas”,
que a continuación presentamos.
Koh Samui
El punto de partida para este viaje fue en el pequeño
paraíso insular: la isla de Samui, en el golfo de Siam.
Edén con abundante vegetación y playas de arena
blanca, bañadas por el mar de color jade.
Los pueblos se esparcen alrededor de la isla
dominada por montañas, restaurantes, bares y hote-
les que acogen personas de todo el planeta, creando
un conjunto internacional de ambiente insólito. Los
tailandeses observan ese nuevo
melting pot
, donde
extranjeros de otros horizontes se sientan en las
terrazas de los cafés junto a ellos, en el que los inter-
cambios culturales fascinan, las discotecas divierten y
las playas invitan a relajarse.
El alojamiento fue en el Four Seasons, enclavado
en una península que domina el mar, en la lujosa
Thai-Villa, escondida entre la selva con alberca y una
fabulosa terraza. Con un restaurante, situado en uno
de los puntos más altos de la península, para degustar
exquisitos platillos típicos y la vista impresionante de
las más hermosas puestas de sol.

we present to you.
Koh Samui
We landed in Samui Island, in the Golf of Siam, an
Eden of abundant vegetation and white sand
beaches, tasted by jaded color sea.
The towns are despaired around the island
dominated by mountains, restaurants, and hotels
that welcome people from all over the planet, crea-
ting an unusual international place. The Thai peo-
ple observe these new “Melting Pot”, where
foreigners from other horizons sit next to them on
the terraces of the coffee shop, where the cultural
exchanges are fascinating, nightclubs are amu-
sing and the beaches are tempting to relax.
We lodged in the marvelous Four Seasons
located in a peninsula dominated by the sea. Our
luxurious Thai–villa, hidden in the jungle, with
its own pool and its fabulous terrace. The restau-
rant located in one of the highest points of the
peninsula served exquisite typical dishes and it
had an impressive sightseeing with the most
beautiful sunsets.
