-Piazza Navona. Ninguna otra plaza se compara
a la teatralidad de Piazza Navona. Originalmente fue
el estadio de Domiciano, ahora es uno de los lugares
más representativos del barroco en Roma. En ella se
encuentra la famosa Fuente de los Cuatro Ríos de Gian
Lorenzo Bernini y la iglesia de Santa Inés en Agonía
de Borromini. Es también el lugar ideal para tomar un
aperitivo o ir a cenar en alguno de los bares o restau-
rantes que hay cerca.
-Campo dei Fiori. Esta plaza renacentista ubicada
entre el Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II y el río Tíber es
también un área comercial y de vida nocturna. Por la
mañana es un mercado principalmente de fruta y ver-
dura, en la tarde se puede dar un paseo y visitar sus
tiendas, mientras que en la noche se llena de jóvenes
y vida nocturna.
