rasil es mucho más que futbol, samba y
ritmo, también hay raíces arraigadas que
habitan en sus pueblos listas para ser des-
cubiertas.
Con el primer mundial sustentable casi en puer-
ta, es muy pertinente hablar de esa parte de la cul-
tura de este país sudamericano que quizá sea des-
conocida: su consciencia por el medio ambiente.
Desde 1988 los brasileños cuentan con el derecho
constitucional de tener un medio ambiente ecológi-
camente equilibrado y por esta razón el Estado está
obligado a conservarlo. Quizá por eso existan tantos
lugares protegidos y una muy creciente cultura del
respeto y la responsabilidad por la naturaleza.
