En la noche descubría los bares, restaurantes o
discotecas. En el día, la gente andaba de
shopping
o de
un lado al otro o en sus trabajos. El mercado de pesca-
do despertaba la ciudad con su tumulto ofreciendo las
“cosas” más extrañas.
Tokio es intrigante dentro de su mundo de torres
plantadas en diferentes barrios modernos e inmensa-
mente ricos de vida, que surgen de entre las zonas de
casas o de avenidas de tiendas y oficinas.
Los templos antiguos conservan sus tradiciones y
las mujeres acuden con sus kimonos; el incienso ema-
na de las grandes salas.
La gente corría a su manera, tomando el tiempo de
encontrarse con los amigos e ir de compras para diver-
tirse, o en los casinos para tratar de desafiar lo esta-
blecido y creer en la buena fortuna que no llega nunca.
Hasta muy tarde la ciudad no dormía y embrujaba.
Las mujeres con ropa muy moderna, casi siempre
con unas combinaciones de prendas muy extrañas, los
hombres de traje gris oscuro, que parece el uniforme
de las oficinas.

or at the casinos defying the establishes and belie-
ving in a good fortune that never comes. Up to very
late the city was sleepless and bewitching.
The women with very modern clothes, al-
most always with weird clothing combinations,
the men with dark gray suits, that looks like the
office uniform.
The city fascinated me, it bewitched me, like
it would cover me to lift me up and stroll me high
