I was fascinated by Kyoto, amanmade city, with
its channels where the cherry trees are reflected,
its intense and authentic social life, its exquisite
restaurants, its nice people, very different from
the ones from Tokyo, with a provincial air and the
modern buildings that are reflected in the past.
Nara, Sacred Place
At a short distance in the Kyoto train, I reached
Nara, one of the most sacred places in Japan with its
Todaijitemplefoundinthemiddleoftheforestwhere
the deer stroll aroundwith calmand tranquility.
The temple has one of the most beautiful
budas and that everyone comes to worship called
Daibutsu Den and the figures that surround it are
gigantic and impressive. The town is charming,
vibrant around its ponds, animated by the people
that live at a sacred town pace.
Me fascinó Kyoto, una ciudad a la medida del
hombre, con sus canales donde se reflejaban los
cerezos, su vida social intensa y auténtica, sus
exquisitos restaurantes, su gente amable, muy
diferente de los de Tokio, con un aire de provincia y
los edificios modernos que se reflejan en el pasado.
Nara, lugar sagrado
A poca distancia en tren de Kyoto, alcancé Nara,
uno de los lugares más sagrados de Japón con su
Templo de Todaiji, alojado en medio del bosque donde
pasean los venados con calma y serenidad.
