Kremlin
Localizado en el corazón de la capital, el Kremlin es
uno de los más grandes museos del mundo. Se trata
de un conjunto de edificios de diversas épocas, todos
ellos concentrados en un área rodeada de muros altí-
simos. El Kremlin es prácticamente una ciudad en si
misma, con numerosas catedrales, palacios y edifi-
cios. Desde la fundación de la ciudad, cuya extensión
original se limitaba precisamente a este territorio, el
Kremlin ha sido testigo de muchos acontecimientos
fundamentales dentro de la historia rusa.
Es posible pasar un día entero dentro del
Kremlin. Después de visitar sus numerosas catedra-
les, una visita al famoso Museo de la Armería resulta
un verdadero deleite. Este edificio era originalmente
una bodega para guardar las armas del estado ruso
desde el s. XVI, de ahí su nombre actual. Sin embar-
go, con el tiempo, la Armería se convirtió en un alma-
cén de todo tipo de tesoros de la corte imperial. En

Located in the heart of the capital, the Kremlin is
one of the greatest museums of the world. It is
about a group of buildings from several periods, al
of them concentrated in an area surrounded by very
tall walls. The Kremlin is practically a city by itself,
with numerous cathedrals, palaces and buildings.
Since the foundation of the city, which original
extension was limited precisely to this territory, the
Kremlin has been a witness of many fundamental
events within the Russian history.
It is possible to spend a whole day in the
Kremlin. After visiting its numerous cathedrals, a
visit to the famous Armory Museum results a real
delight. This building was originally a warehouse to
keep the weapons of the Russian state since the
XVIth century, hence its actual name. How ever,
with the time, the Armory turned into a warehouse
of all kind of treasures of the imperial court. In 1813,
