23.- Central Park. Situado en el corazón de Man-
hattan, es un espacio público que fue construido sobre
un pantano. Caminar por sus puentes o escuchar un con-
cierto son razones de visita de este imponente parque.
24.- Village Vanguard. Desde 1925 es el mejor
lugar para escuchar jazz.
25.-Carruajes. No sólo se disfruta de un paseo
por un carruaje tirado por caballos, los conducto-
res dan explicaciones de todos los lugares de im-
portancia a lo largo del recorrido.
26.- Museo Guggenheim. La única petición para
el arquitecto fue que tenía que ser algo comple-
tamente diferente a todos los museos ya estable-
cidos. Y a pesar de todas las críticas, ahora es un
ícono de la arquitectura contemporánea.
27.- Time Warner Center. Esta plaza alberga un
par de nuevas torres gemelas, también es conoci-
do como Columbus Center, ya que conmemora el
descubrimiento de américa por el genovés Cristó-
bal Colón. Además, el monumento marca el kiló-
metro cero de la ciudad.
28.- Maraton de Nueva York. Aproximadamen-
te 30 mil personas afrontan el reto de correr por
la ciudad, mientras casi 2 millones alientan a los
competidores para llegar a la meta.
29.-Fuente central de Bethesda Terrace. Con-
memora la llegada del agua potable en 1842.
30.-Catedral de Saint John the Divine. Con más
de un siglo de obra, es conocida como San Juan la
Incompleta, el proyecto dice que será la catedral
anglicana más grande del mundo.

to new twin towers, and it is also known as, “Co-
lumbus Circle,” as it recognizes the discovery of
America by the Genovese explorer Christopher
Columbus. Furthermore, the spot is the zero-ki-
lometer mark of the city.
28. New York Marathon. Approximately 30 thou-
sand people face the challenge of running through the
city, while almost 2 million encourage the runners to
reach thefinish line.
29.- Main fountain at Bethesda Terrace. Commem-
orates the arrival of cleanwater to the city in 1842.
30.- Saint John the Divine Cathedral. With over a
century of constructions, it is known as Saint John
the Incomplete. It is said that it will be the largest
Anglican cathedral in the world upon completion.
