Expresión corporal
El imaginario social ha hecho desde tiempos antiguos le-
yendas de míticas criaturas que había que derrotar para
hacer la nación. Otras narran la travesía del pueblo ruso y
sus valores culturales que actualmente retoman coreó-
grafos, bailarines, pintores y artistas visuales.
En no pocos casos leyendas tradicionales se inicia-
ron con la expresión corporal, convertidas en danzas
y ballet después. Esa naturalización del baile discipli-
nado se plasma en la película “El Barbero de Siberia”
(1999), dirigida por Nikita Mikhalkov y protagonizada
por Julia Ormond, Oleg Menshikov, Richard Harris, so-
bre la Rusia de los años ochenta del Siglo XIX.

ballet Bolshói, uno de los teatros de Moscú más antiguos
y grandes de la historia? Nace durante la Rusia de las mo-

alberga el museo Edimburgo, en el Palacio de Invierno de
San Petersburgo.

Body expression
The social imaginary has made legends of mythical
creatures thathadtodefeat to thenationsinceancient
times. Others recount the crossing of the Russian peo-
ple and their cultural values, which currently take up
choreographers, dancers, painters and visual artists.
In not few cases traditional legends began with
the body expression, converted to dances and ballet
after. This naturalization of the disciplined dance is
