Día 4:
Primero, una caminata por la Rue Dansaert. No sé
si fue la sugestión de lo mucho que estaba disfrutan-
do Bruselas o saber que me quedaban todavía dos días
en la ciudad; el hecho es que nunca había disfrutado
tanto una visita a Le Pain Quotidien.
Ya desayunado, me dirigí al Palais de Beaux-Arts,
mejor conocido como Bozar, homófona de Beaux-
Arts. Otra obra del maestro del Art Nouveau Victor
Horta, que alberga una sala de conciertos, un teatro,
una sala de música de cámara, salas de lectura y sa-
las de exhibición de una belleza indescriptible.
Comencé por la exhibición perteneciente al
Young Belgian Art Prize 2013, un recorrido por la
obra de artistas emergentes que con toda hones-
tidad, parecieran ser artistas con larga trayectoria.
Después, pasé tantas horas como pude absorto en
la exhibición dedicada a Michelangelo Antonio-
ni, que contiene desde fragmentos de sus filmes
hasta pinturas del cineasta (uno de mis favoritos).
Hubo un momento en que no sabía hacia qué exhi-
bición ir, porque en el lugar, además de las exhibi-
ciones, había proyecciones constantes y entrevis-
tas a grandes escritores. Así que si planean viajar
a Bruselas pronto, recomiendo dedicar uno o dos
días enteros a conocer el BOZAR de principio a fin.
Pero se acercaba la hora de comer, así entré al
Bozar Brasserie que Michael me aseguró era un muy
buen lugar. Y no se equivocó.
Después de la inolvodable experiencia artística
y gastronómica, decidí caminar por la ciudad y me
llamó la atención que no había notado que práctica-
mente toda la ciudad tiene murales de Tintin, cosa
que una vez más, me hizo recordar las miles de horas
que como niño pasé disfrutando sus aventuras.
Día 4:
First, a walk along the Rue Dansaert. Maybe it
was the suggestion of how much I was enjoying
Brussels or know that I still had two days in the
city, the fact is I’ve never enjoyed so much visiting
Le Pain Quotidien.
I had breakfast, went to the Palais de Beaux-Arts,
aka Bozar, homophone of Beaux-Arts. Another work
of the master of Art Nouveau Victor Horta, which
houses a concert hall, a theater, a chamber music
hall, reading rooms and exhibition halls of inde-
scribable beauty.
I started with the display which belonged to
Young Belgian Art Prize 2013, a tour of the work
of emerging artists in all honesty, appear to be
artists with a long history. Then I spent so many
hours lost in the exhibition devoted to Michel-
angelo Antonioni, containing from fragments
of his films to paintings filmmaker (one of my
favorites). There was a time when I did not know
which way to go display, because in place, in ad-
dition to the exhibits, there were constant pro-
jections and interviews with great writers. So if
you plan to travel to Brussels soon, I recommend
devoting one or two full days to know the BOZAR
from start to finish.
lunchtime was approaching , so I went to Bo-
zar Brasserie Michael assured me it was a very
good place. And he was right.
After an inolvodable artistic and gastronomic
experience, I decided to walk around town and no-
ticed that I had not seen that almost all the city
has Tintin murals, which once again made me re-
member the thousands of hours I spent as a child
enjoying these adventures.
