Escapadas
En Oporto, las ciudades de Braga y Guimarães -patri-
monio mundial-, el Parque Nacional del Gerês, el Geo
parque de Arouca o el río Duero son opciones que hay
que tener en cuenta. Desde Lisboa se llega rápida-
mente al patrimonio mundial de Sintra, a la costa de
Estoril o a los parques naturales de los estuarios del
río Tajo o del río Sado. Junto al Sado también tene-
mos el Parque Natural de Arrábida y las localidades
de Palmela, Sesimbra y Setúbal, que ofrecen bellas
perspectivas del mar. Un poco más al sur, pero sólo
a una hora en coche, queda Évora, que también está
catalogada como patrimonio de la humanidad. Al
igual que los Monasterios de Alcobaça y Batalha, al
norte de la capital, poco después de la medieval villa
amurallada de Óbidos.

Escapades
While in Port, the cities of Braga and Guimarães
-this last one is part of the World Heritage-, the
National Park of Gerês, the Geopark of Arouca or
the Duero River are options to take into consider-
ation. From Lisbon you can very quickly arrive to
the World Heritage of Sintra, to the Estoril Coast
or to the Natural Parks of the estuaries of Tajo and
Sado Rivers. By the Sado you can find the Arrabida
Natural Park and Palmela, Sesimbra and Setubal
that offer beautiful sights of the sea. A little bit
more to the South but merely an hour by car, you
can find Evora, which is also a World Heritage. As
Evora, the Monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha,
North of Lisbon, right after the medieval fortified
Villa of Obidos.
