La Haya
La Haya es una de las ciudades más extraordina-
rias en Holanda. No sólo porque es la sede del gobier-
no, sino también por sus numerosos monumentos,
centros históricos y ubicación cerca de la hermosa
costa del Mar del Norte. La Haya también se conoce
como “la ciudad de la paz y la justicia” y se llama “la
ciudad de residencia”, debido a los numerosos miem-
bros de la familia real holandesa que residen en sus
barrios elegantes.
El Plein y Grote Markt son plazas repletas de res-
taurantes, cafeterías, cafés y clubes nocturnos, y son
lugares animados y agradables todos los días de la se-
mana. El sector comercial de La Haya es tan variado
como la ciudad misma. También cuenta con una gran
cantidad de arte y cultura de renombre internacional
para ofrecer.
Por último pero no menos importante, La Haya de-
muestra que un horizontemoderno y un centro históri-
co de la ciudad son los socios perfectos. Scheveningen,
el mejor balneario conocido en la costa holandesa, es
un gran lugar para ir por un bronceado y hacer deportes
acuáticos en verano durante el invierno resulta un pa-
seo tonificante. Con atracciones como el Madurodam,
la cual es una ciudad enminiatura y el Omniversumque
es cúpula de cine, La Haya es también un lugar maravi-
lloso para los visitantes más jóvenes.
Hague
The Hague is one of the most extraordinary cit-
ies in the Netherlands. Not only because it is the
seat of government, but also for its many monu-
ments, historic sites and beautiful location close
the North Sea coast. The Hague is also known as
“the city of peace and justice” and is called “city of
residence” because of the many members from the
Dutch royal family residing in luxurious neighbor-
hoods.
The Grote Markt Plein and squares are filled
with restaurants, coffee shops, cafes and night-
clubs, and are lively and pleasant places any day
of the week. The commercial sector of The Hague
is as varied as the city itself. It also has a wealth
of art and culture and is an internationally re-
nowned offer.
Last but not least, The Hague shows that a
modern skyline and the historic city center are the
perfect partners. Scheveningen, the best known
resort on the Dutch coast, is a great place to go
for a tan and make water sports in summer, dur-
ing the winter it invites us for invigorating walks.
With attractions including Madurodam, which is a
miniature city and dome Omniversumwhich plays
movies, The Hague is a wonderful place for young-
er visitors.
