Una cosa más que interesante es que todos nues-
trosmuseos son gratuitos, no se paga por visitarlos. Tal
vez debamos pagar para asistir a una exhibición espe-
cial, pero incluso muchas exhibiciones son gratis. Está
el British Museum, tenemos objetos y artefactos de to-
das las grandes culturas del mundo. Tenemos el Museo
de Victoria y Alberto, que tiene las mayores colecciones
de moda y artesanía decorativa del mundo. Está el Mu-
seo de Ciencia, si los visitantes tienen hijos pequeños
bien pueden visitarlo, es casi 100% interactivo, así que
desde el momento que entras por la puerta, ya estás
jalando, empujando y haciendo cosas. Está junto al Mu-
seo de Historia Natural, que posiblemente tenga la co-
lección más grande de dinosauros en el mundo. Y todos
estos museos británicos son de lo mejor en términos
de interés para el visitante, multilingües, interactivos y
van familias con hijos pequeños. Están muy bien orga-
nizados y quedan cerca de Harrods.
Un rasgo peculiar del Reino Unido es su tendencia
a conservar su historia, sus tradiciones, lo cual permite
conocer al detalle los acontecimientos y las manifes-
taciones culturales a través del tiempo. En Inglaterra,
pero sobre todo en Londres -y especialmente en su
zona real-, es fácil apreciar las obras de los maestros de
la pintura de siglos atrás, piezas que les han dado un
lugar en la historia universal y que los muchos museos
de Londres guardan para que estos genios revivan ante
las miradas maravilladas de los visitantes. Además de
los dedicados al arte, los hay de diversos temas.
