litares, científicos, literarios y sociales, es difícil ele-
gir la aportación del Reino Unido que mayor impacto
haya tenido en el mundo.
Tal vez tenga que ser el idioma inglés, porque cada
vez se convierte en un idioma para la comunicación
internacional y un pasaporte para la prosperidad y las
transacciones de comercio global. Y creo que con el
idioma llegó un amplio conocimiento. El dominio del
inglés como idioma no es algo que necesariamente ha-
yamos creado nosotros, pero es una plataforma que se
dio a la música inglesa, las estrellas Pop fueron segui-
das en muchos países en los que no siempre se hablara
otro idioma, pero el público hablaba suficiente inglés
para comprender la música y la letra.
México es un ejemplo muy interesante, porque
la gente aquí no siempre sabe mucho sobre Ingla-
terra, pero conocen a los Beatles y se saben las le-
tras de los Beatles, conocen a los Beatles. En México
puedes encontrar abuelitas y nietas cantando a los
Beatles, ¿cierto? Eso es muy interesante y bastante
