El Bronx
Este condado situado al norte de la ciudad enfrentó un

Gracias a su proximidad con el mercado de abastos, el
Bronx recibe lamejor langosta ymariscos a precios increí-
bles. Sammy’s Fish Box y Sammy’s Shrimp Box son dos
de los sitios más populares para degustar. Además hay
tiendas de antigüedades dondepuedes descubrir tesoros.

The Bronx Zoo.- Con más de 700 especies y 6,000
animales que conviven en los espacios que simulan suhá-
bitat de origen. Es parte de las visitas obligadas del Bronx.

The New York Botanical Garden.- Aquí se ubican 50
jardines distribuidos en más de 101 hectáreas que alber-
gan agrupaciones de rocas, colinas, cascadas, estanques,
el río Bronx, donde sus 20 hectáreas de bosque hacen que
se disfrute aúnmás un paseo a pie.

The Bronx
This county, located north of the city, faced many a
challenge given the crime problems that plagued it
during the 1980s; nevertheless, its appearance has
changed drastically over the years. It is an areawhere

and English are still dominant), thus, it has become
a focal point for the Spanish-speaking community,
thanks to its parks, museums, and sports facilities.
Given its proximity to foodmarkets, the Bronx re-
ceives some of the freshest and cheapest lobster and
seafood. Sammy’s FishBox, and Sammy’s ShrimpBox
are two popular places to visit. There are also antique
stores where one can find all kinds of treasures.
